While travelling on the highway, take the left from a junction little ahead of <strong>Nagothane</strong>. About <strong>8 kms</strong> inside is Pali. The road further ahead takes one to Khopoli. (ie. from Mumbai, one can reach Pali, via Khopoli as well).<br /><br />Sarasgad fort is at a height of <strong>1400 ft</strong>. On top is a vast expense of dilapidated fort, caves used for storing food and water. Except for a few steep rocky patches (which can be dangerous during rains), the climb is relatively easy.
